Gotham has apparently started casting its new big bad for season 2! Fish Mooney is gone and somebody needs to fill the void. We've gotten word that season 2 is going to feature a brother-sister duo. Tabitha Galavan and Theo Galavan, respectively the DC Comics supervillain Tigress and her brother. James Frain (True Blood, The Tudors) has been cast as Theo Galavan. It is unclear how much of a connection this version of Tigress has to the comics. She does not seem to be based on Artemis Crock, the supervillain daughter of Huntress and Sportsmaster. The name could also be a reference to Tygrus, a character in Batman: The Animated Series.
"[James Frain] will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan. A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for — he is sexy, heroic, and lovingly devoted to his sister Tabitha (yet to be cast). But behind Galavan’s altruism is a centuries-old vendetta. Galavan and Tabitha (aka Tigress) will take chaos and violence to a new level in order to bleed Gotham. Their plan will lead to the creation of new villains... and the destruction of others."
