Martha Wayne's pearl necklace was a pearl necklace belonging to Martha Wayne.

History[]

After leaving a popular musical, the Wayne family was mugged, with the mugger asking for Martha's necklace. She ripped it off of her neck in an attempt to give it to him, with several of the pearls falling off. A duplicate necklace was later placed in Mario Pepper's apartment, to frame him.[1]

When Jim Gordon gets dosed with Red Queen, he hallucinates Bruce shooting him and pulling the necklace out of his gunshot wound.[2]

During the No Man's Land crisis, the necklace would later be worn by a Martha Wayne doppelganger. Jeremiah Valeska had a random couple abducted and used plastic surgery to make them look like Bruce's parents in a scheme to recreate the Wayne murder. However, Valeska later decided to kill the lookalike Waynes so that Jim Gordon and Lee Thompkins who were hypnotized by Jervis Tetch could take their places. Lee wore the pearl necklace during Bruce Wayne's confrontation with Jeremiah in Crime Alley.[3]
