ng.Hello people. So I have recently seen the Red Hood episode for Gotham Season 1, and this episode in particular gave me a few thoughts i would like to share. I may be wrong about these thoughts but I would not like to waste any more of your time, so let's go. In this episode, I wanted to talk about this: As you know, in the previous episode, Zsasz has recruited Butch Gilzean into Penguin's club, correct? There is one scene when after they get the liquor and alcohol, Penguin mentions Fish Mooney and how much he "misses her". What I found interesting was Butch's response to this statement: "She got what she deserved". This leads me to this thought: Does Butch know what has happened to Fish? If you don't know, she ripped her left eye out, …

After watching The Blind Fortune Teller last night, it got me to thinking of Selina Kyle and her involvement with James Gordon and Barbara Kean. Selina keeps popping up in Gordon's life and most recently she met Barbara when Barbara came home under the influence to find Selina and Ivy Pepper living in her penthouse. I enjoyed how Barbara just accepted that they were there and sat down with them. I discovered that in the next episode, Red Hood, Barbara and Selina might be bonding more. This makes me hope that by the end of Season 1, or during Season 2, Selina might be living with Gordon, Barbara, or both, depending on Jim and Barbara's relationship by then. Would Selina be formally adopted or just live with them? Would she go to school and …Read more >
An Ogre Is Coming to Gotham:
Milo Ventimiglia Set for Recurring Guest Star Role
Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, upcoming The Whispers) has been set to guest star in a major, multiple-episode recurring arc in season one of Gotham. Appearing first in episode 19, Ventimiglia will play Jason Lennon, aka the Ogre.
Handsome, wealthy and seductive, the Ogre is a serial killer who has been preying on the young women of Gotham for nearly a decade, luring them into his web and confronting them with a series of “tests” as he searches for his perfect mate. When the women fail to live up to his impossible standard, Lennon disposes of them quickly and viciously.
His obsessions, combined with Gordon’s determination to bring him down, send both Gordon and Lennon — …

I'd like to know how Fish Mooney is in Gotham. I don't see her in comic books
and in shows with Batman in them, they don't mention her name. To be honest I think that Fish Mooney shouldn't belong in the show. You may criticize me but it's what I think.Read more >
You may have just landed on the homepage and see a new background...That does not feature Gordon or Bruce? What is this? Why isn't the main character featured at all?
Does anyone think Harley Quinn may come to the show, possibly having some relation to Cardinal Quinn from, "The Ballonman". They do have the same last name.Read more >
According to EW.com, a familiar face to fans of the sci-fi series Firefly and/or Showtime's Homeland will be taking up residency (pun intended) in Gotham as supporting character Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Emmy nominated actress Morena Baccarin will take on the part, and while she is much younger than the character seen in the DC universe, it is likely that she will fill the same role. Here's how DC Database describes Dr. Thompkins:
"Dr. Leslie Thompkins is a physician in Gotham City and a supporting member to the Batman Family. She was a close friend of the late Thomas Wayne and helped raise his orphaned son Bruce Wayne with Alfred Pennyworth. Her pacifistic attitude makes her disapprove of Bruce's violent vigilante activities as Batman. However…

It may seem undiscriminating, but I must say that I have enjoyed almost everything I've seen in this vision of the Dark Knight's city. My personal favorite element, however, is equallly unquestionably the re-envisioned Penguin, who is so much more menacing than the tiny, waddling figure before, and yet still manages to elicit, due to a wonderful performance, empathy for his plight and situation.
I am hugely enjoying the 'life lessons' sinking in for the younger characters in general, shaping their similar but divergent paths. The various stories on display to date, do suggest a definite neutral option beyond 'good and evil', characters swayed by their momentary needs and sympathies, rather than with a fixed course. As long as she doesn't be…Read more >

I'm rather curious to see, and intrigued what others think. How far will Geoff Johns and the people at DC Comics look to establish a comic book compatible set of storylines here? What I mean is, will this ultimately be designed to feed back into the printed (or electronic) page as the long-missing lore of origins, or is it closer to being a springboard for the next big screen incarnation of the Dark Knight (or neither)?
Having seen only the Pilot I am impressed by the richness, the seeming depth, of the visual imagery, the extent to which the bustle and underbelly of Gotham have already been conveyed. Likewise, there are numerous small touches which caught my eye and ear which I already enjoy for the questions they raise. Although not a wel…Read more >

SIX DAYS until the premiere of Gotham. We are counting down the days. There has been so much buzz that we can't wait to see how the show turns out! Invite a few friends over for a premiere party and cook up some of these Gotham-inspired recipes. Enjoy!
This salad is as green as the Riddler's (aka Edward Nygma) suit. Make this fresh salad as an appetizer for your party.
The gangster boss, Fish Mooney, would not be pleased if she didn't have a recipe made in her honor. Cook up this poached fish in a spinach cream sauce á la Fish Mooney. Her "extra-sensory abilities" will know if you overcook the fish, so be careful.
The Gotham TV Series is inspired by Batman from the DC Comics universe. Roll out these sugar cookies and decorate them with Batman…
